So, Gregory, what does Capmo actually do?

Capmo is the leading B2B SaaS construction tech that develops intuitive, digital solutions to make the hard things in construction feel easy. With our all-in-one solution, we make it easy to optimize and automate time-consuming construction management processes and build schools, hospitals, and houses on time and on budget.

What is the tech team working on — what are the challenges?

Capmo’s purpose is to make the hard things in construction feel easy. And this is what we’re all working towards. Our tech teams are focused on building software delivered through mobile and web interfaces, following the highest standards and modern technology stacks to create high-quality solutions which make our customer’s life easier. During their day-to-day work, our tech team focuses on solving complex problems such as implementing an Offline-first native mobile application along with the synchronization functionality required, as well as reworking the entire way we handle user permissions and organizations within the system.

Let’s talk about the Tech-Stack!

Our current technology stack relies on AWS cloud services while allowing our engineers to build software using Typescript alongside node.js/nest or React. The mobile team works with iOS, Android, Kotlin and Swift.

What are Capmo’s values?

As much as we love to be flexible as things change and develop super fast in such a hyper-growth environment, we genuinely care about our values and always act accordingly. Care personally, challenge directly — we care personally about our colleagues and customers’ individual needs and priorities and always give direct feedback. Learn fast, grow fast and win as a team, and give and take responsibility — to empower others to achieve their goals autonomously.

One of the biggest perks is to work on products (with top-notch technologies and your equipment of choice) that revolutionize one of the biggest industries worldwide.

Over the past years, we grew an open-minded and international team, operating from Munich, Berlin, and remotely.

Tell us more about remote work and flexible hours!

To make sure that you work in the best place possible, we give you the flexibility to work where and when you like. As we welcome talent from all over the world, we offer relocation services to facilitate the start in the new country — whether it is in our headquarter in Munich or in our Hub in Berlin. You prefer to join us remotely? You are more than welcome!

But the number 1 reason most of your tech colleagues choose Capmo is the possibility to work with top notch technologies and the equipment of choice to change one of the biggest industries worldwide and facilitate the lives of thousands of people.

How has Capmo adapted to the challenges of the Covid Pandemic?

We adopted flexible policies, enabling people to work whenever and wherever they are most effective, whether in our offices in Munich and Berlin or remote — our working environment is remote-friendly, we also offer flexible working hours according to your biorhythm.

What are the perks of working at Capmo?

Definitely our unique spirit: we all support each other in our personal and professional development. Talking about development: Capmo offers a 1.500 Euro development budget p.a. as well as development days to ensure you can make the most of yourself (and the budget). Some of our Engineers have used the budget to become certified AWS Developers, others to improve their German skills or attend classes to upgrade their public speaking skills. Also, by now you have already heard about our hybrid work policy but we’ve also introduced a mobile work policy to enable our colleagues to have a workation from abroad in the EU.

Other things are for example sponsored sports memberships or lunches and the possibility to work on your mental health.

What are your hiring goals over the next 12 months?

We’re scaling up Capmo and bringing it to the next level. We focus on senior engineers for the tech teams across both our mobile and our platform team.
