Our tech teams are currently working on The Next Big Thing — Mercedes-Benz Operating System. In the field of digitization, we focus on the seamless integration and harmonization of software and electronics. This includes the development of innovative products and services aimed at customers’ needs. The next big step in this regard is our internally developed operating system as a direct interface for customer-experience features, which will become the basis for all future Mercedes-Benz vehicles as a unique and standard software platform.

What are your hiring goals over the next 12 months?
The future “Mercedes-Benz Electric Software Hub” will play a central role as an integrating centre of competence for electric and electrified drives and digitization. This means that in order to accelerate the transformation towards “Digital First”, Mercedes-Benz AG is hiring around 1,000 software developers at its Sindelfingen site. We are looking for highly committed, talented SW Specialists who are passionate about developing the most desirable vehicles in an agile team. These include Programmers, System Architects, and experts in Battery development and driving assistance systems.
