Andreja, please tell us about OMRT’s mission!
We are on a mission to make designing & developing real estate more flexible, all-encompassing and risk-free by centralising knowledge into one system. With OMRT we have developed a collection of 31 architectural design, physics, finance and material modules that are connected within one digital brain. Through this brain, thousands of design solutions can be parametrically generated and simultaneously analysed. By transforming real estate development from a linear, sequential process into an iterative and integral process, we can realise design iterations 80% faster, improve energy scores with 25% and increase efficiency in material costs and m2 optimisation with 20%.
What are your company’s values?
The OMR-Team-culture is strong, with great development power, diverse backgrounds and great ambitions. We combine the best of software and business skills over 27 FTE in 13 nationalities. A young team that strives for a paradigm shift in the real estate industry!
And especially about the Tech-Team?
The Tech & Product team together is about 13 FTE, varying from backend to frontend to product owner roles. The tech team is very international with 9 different nationalities.
What are they trying to achieve? What interesting challenges are they working on?
The tech constantly works on very different topics which need to land together in our platform the OMRT / hub. Topics such as solving complex fluid dynamics for wind to rule-based mathematics for solving complex geometrical puzzles, all aspects should come together in a well engineered front-end platform that helps our clients generate the most mind-blowing insights.
How has OMRT adapted to the challenges of the Covid pandemic?
By smartly integrating a hybrid work environment. Before the pandemic we already started working in a hybrid way, 50–50 home-office-ratio. I dare to say we professionalised this way of working during the pandemic.
What are the perks of working at OMRT?
